Many dental patients with missing teeth opt for the flexibility of dentures to fill the gaps of missing teeth. Unlike a bridge or implant, dentures are not fastened to your teeth or jawbone. They are prosthetic devices that can be both worn and removed easily.
Partial dentures are custom made by the team at Fox Family Dental to stand in for areas where teeth are missing in your mouth. They don't cover the entire palate like full dentures, but only gaps where teeth used to be. They’re a perfect option for an area in your mouth where a couple of teeth next to each other are missing.
Removable Dentures
Fox Family Dental will have you fitted for partial dentures by taking an impression. Our team will then custom create your dentures based on the impression. This includes the teeth and a base made to look like your gums. The partial dentures will be designed to fit securely on your gums and will attach to metal clasps that will be added to the ends of the teeth next to your missing tooth gap. The dentures are designed to be easily removable if you want to take them out for any reason. We recommend taking your dentures out to clean them frequently. Your dentures can be washed using a toothbrush or by being kept in denture solution when not being worn.
